With pro-level organization, a venue dripping with pure Stacks character, and a massive spectator atmosphere, this is your chance to prove yourself where Louisiana takes center court.
Bigger & Better Senior Brackets (50+ & 60+)
We are leveling up the competition. Due to massive demand, we are thrilled to announce that for the first time ever, our senior events are being split into dedicated 50+ and 60+ divisions! With two full days strictly reserved for senior play, you can expect incredibly balanced brackets, true peer-to-peer matchups, and all the raw Stacks energy you love.
$1,000 Open Divisions & Historic Junior Payouts
If you want to play for the biggest stakes in the state, this is it. We are putting a $1,000 cash purse on the line for our Open divisions to see who truly owns the court. Plus, in a massive Stacks first, we are rolling out a dedicated Open Juniors Division (18 and under) with a payout that goes toe-to-toe with the adults! Elite gameplay, huge cash prizes, and zero holding back.

RESTRICTIONS:

Players cannot register for more than one event per day, exception of Open Divisions.

Players whose updated DUPR rating (50%+ reliability) exceeds the registered division will be moved up.

Players with DUPR reliability below 50% may appeal to play in a lower division.

Selected partner must register within five (5) days of first player’s registration. Failure to do so will result in waitlist placement.

Selecting “Need a Partner” does not guarantee tournament will find a partner.
REFUND POLICY FOR WITHDRAWALS & CANCELLATION:

To receive a refund minus the $5 technology fee and a 5% processing fee, cancellation must be received by the end of day 15 days prior to the event start date. Example: Event start date is June 15, 2026. Cancellation must be received by 11:59pm local time on Friday, June 1, 2026. After June 1, 2026, no refunds will be issued.
PRIZE MONEY (OPEN DIVISIONS ONLY):

Cash purses are exclusive to the Open Level divisions (All Ages AND Junior brackets).

A minimum of 8 teams is required to guarantee the $1,000 purse in Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, Junior Mixed Doubles, Mens Doubles, Womens Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

A minimum of 8 players is required to guarantee the $500 purse in Mens & Womens Singles.

If minimum registration thresholds are not met, the prize pool may be adjusted proportionally.

Prize Purse distribution: 1st place team takes 75%, 2nd place team takes 25%. Third place team will receive free entry to the next Louisiana Open tournament.

The Louisiana Open features a variety of divisions to ensure competitive play for all skill levels. All divisions will utilize DUPR ratings for accurate placement and fair matchups.

FORMAT:

Stacks Pickleball guarantees a minimum of three (3) matches per team per event.
-
Events will be played using round-robin brackets or pool play, followed by medal brackets and/or medal matches.
-
Tournament management reserves the right to combine brackets as needed to create playable divisions.

If brackets are combined, medals will be awarded based on the original registered division.
RATINGS (DUPR):

DUPR ratings will be used for all events.
-
All matches will be reported to DUPR.
-
It is each player’s responsibility to verify match scores promptly.

Tournament Director reserves the right to move players up or down as deemed appropriate.

After registration closes, all player ratings will be reviewed.
-
Players whose updated DUPR rating (50%+ reliability) exceeds the registered division will be moved up.
-
Players with DUPR reliability below 50% may appeal to play in a lower division.

Players must initially register in the division allowed by their current DUPR rating.

Appeals must be submitted via email to danny+laopen@stackspb.com before registration closes.

Both partners (if applicable) must agree to the appeal.

Additionally, players discovered to have two or more DUPR accounts may also be subject to withdrawal from the tournament at the discretion of the tournament director. Players with multiple DUPR accounts should contact support@dupr.com to have their accounts merged. Thank you for helping us uphold the integrity of the sport!
PARTNER POLICY:

Players may register with a partner or select “Need a Partner.”

PADDLES POLICY:

The Stacks Pickleball allows paddles that are on the official UPA-A amateur and the USA Pickleball paddle approved list.

It is the player's responsibility to make sure their paddle is currently approved by UPA-A and/or USA Pickleball for amateur tournament play. https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/

Players found to be playing with an unapproved paddle may be subject to forfeit at the discretion of the tournament director and/or tournament referee.

Will there be prizes for winner?
Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each division.
Is there a fee for spectators?
No, all spectators will have complimentary entry.
Are pets allowed at the facility?
For the comfort and safety of all attendees, only service animals are permitted inside the Stacks Pickleball.
